Welcome to the Surgery Center of Laredo

Minimally invasive neurospine and orthopedic extremity surgery is a technologically-driven approach to stabilize the spine, decompress nerves, and repair the joints, long bones, and extremities of the human body with minimal blood loss and tissue disruption.

Minimally invasive surgery relies, almost exclusively on either

  1. The use of a surgical microscope and/or
  2. The use of a portable fluoroscope (an x-ray machine) or
  3. An endoscope – a tiny video camera

to visualize and operate on human anatomy through very small openings- often one inch or less – in the skin.

Almost all of our procedures are done on an outpatient basis – which means you go home the same day.

Interventional pain management – another discipline performed at the Surgery Center of Laredo – also uses minimally invasive techniques such as injections, implantable spinal cord stimulators, and drug delivery systems to treat acute or chronic pain.

The Surgery Center of Laredo is completely physician-owned and operated. There is no corporate ownership. The physician-owners of the Surgery Center of Laredo are dedicated to providing you the highest quality of care while minimizing costs. Patient outcome and satisfaction are critical to our success as an independent surgical center.
